Disciples’ Path Day 5 — The Big Five

Vow 6: Prayers, Presence, Gifts, Service, Witness

Scripture:
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” — Acts 2:42

This vow gives us a practical rhythm for spiritual life. Prayers root us in God’s presence. Presence connects us to community. Gifts reflect generosity. Service gives our faith hands and feet. Witness points people toward Jesus.

These practices keep our discipleship balanced—not selective. Each one shapes our hearts differently.

They also protect us from spiritual drift. Faith is sustained through daily engagement, not occasional inspiration.

Discipleship isn’t complicated—it’s practiced. One prayer, one gathering, one gift, one act of service, one moment of witness at a time.

Practical Step:
Choose one of the five practices today and take a meaningful step forward.

Closing Prayer:
Holy Spirit, guide my steps today. Help me practice my faith with sincerity and consistency. Grow me through prayer, presence, generosity, service, and witness. Shape me into a disciple whose everyday life reflects Your love. Amen.
