The Kind of Joy Time Can’t Erase

Scripture:
“You have turned my mourning into dancing.” — Psalm 30:11

Joy has a longer horizon than we often expect. Some joys arrive suddenly; others reveal themselves only in retrospect. God’s joy does not rush the process of healing, but it promises restoration in time. Mourning is not ignored—it is transformed.

The joy God offers is not fragile or fleeting. It carries us across seasons. It endures loss. It survives disappointment. It grows stronger because it is held by God rather than by circumstance.

Joy, in the life of faith, is not temporary happiness. It is lasting hope.

Application:
Look back on a season that once felt painful and consider how God has brought growth or healing since.

Sentence Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the joy You are still unfolding in my life.

40 Days of Gratitude Reminder:
Give thanks today for one way God has carried you from sorrow toward joy.
