Psalm 107:2 (NIV) — ‘Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story—those He redeemed from the hand of the foe.’
Every believer carries a testimony — a story of God’s faithfulness that deserves to be told. Your story might not sound dramatic, but it’s uniquely yours, and it has power because it shows how real God has been in your life. Sometimes we think only pastors or missionaries are called to share about Jesus, but Scripture reminds us that all who are redeemed are called to tell their story.
When you speak about what God has done for you — how He brought you through a difficult season, gave peace in the middle of fear, or forgave you when you least deserved it — you remind others that God is still working today. People need to hear from someone who has walked through challenges and still found God faithful.
You never know how your words will affect someone. A simple story from your life could be the spark that rekindles someone’s faith or gives them hope for the first time. You don’t need perfect words or a long explanation. Just speak from the heart — about the real, living God who has met you in real life.
Practical Step: Write down one short story of how God has helped you — an answered prayer, a moment of peace, a time of guidance. Ask God for one opportunity to share that story this week.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for what You’ve done in my life. Give me courage and the right moment to share my story so someone else can find hope in You. Amen.
