What You Have to Offer

Scripture: 2 Timothy 2:2

“And the things you have heard me say… entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.”

Paul invested in Timothy. Timothy would invest in others. Those others would continue the process. The gospel moved from life to life and generation to generation.

This reminds us that spiritual influence is not reserved for pastors, teachers, or church leaders. Every believer has the opportunity to invest in someone else.

You do not need a title. You do not need a platform. You simply need a willingness to care about another person’s growth.

Sometimes we underestimate the value of our experiences. The lessons God has taught us through joys and struggles may be exactly what someone else needs to hear. The wisdom gained through years of following Christ can become a gift to those who are just beginning the journey.

Pray about one person you could intentionally encourage this week.

Prayer:
Lord, show me who needs encouragement today. Give me the courage to invest in others with generosity and grace. Amen.
